B for Brain

Music affects every part of the brain. It reaches both the left hemisphere (language & words) and the right (sounds and music) stimulating logic and intuition.

Thanks to the Cerebellum advanced dementia patients can still play songs they learnt when they were young. Music also gives you a dopamine hit by way of the Nucleus Accumbens and can calm fears as music reaches the amygdala -responsible for fight or flight responses. So go create, play or listen to some music today- any music will do.
